Things can have more that one meaning, but why interpret it in the wrong way on purpose?! So, since aespa is a Korean (!) group after all I think it's a bit weird to act like this is the end of the world and wanting to cancel them before they even have their debut. I'm sorry if this sounds really rude, but that's just my experience from talking with my friends about it. He might be a household name in the US, but that doesn't mean that the whole world knows him. My friends in Korea and Europe literally had no idea who he was before he died. And third (I'm sorry if this sounds insensitive) but as far as I know Kobe wasn't that much an icon internationally as he was in the US (unless if someone is really interested in US sports/basketball). ![]() is it? First of all: It's a snake!!! Second of all I'm pretty sure the song has nothing to do with Kobe. I came across an article talking about the debut song and there were quite a lot of comments under it like "omggg SM is setting them up", "woooah that's so disrespectful". ![]() So for those of you who don't know it yet: aespa's debut song will be called Black Mamba, which is a extremely venemous snake and one of the deadliest snakes in the world.īut apparently Black Mamba was also a nickname for Kobe Bryant who tragically died in January. ![]()
